In the Spotlight: Marshay Clayborn
Marshay Clayborn has supported training at the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) for more than two decades.
Throughout her time at the CDP, Clayborn has always been part of the center’s training support system – first as a data entry clerk, an administrative assistant for the director of Training and Education, a training support specialist, and now as a statistical support specialist.
In her current role, Clayborn, who has a bachelor’s degree in office administration, is responsible for compiling and verifying data about the CDP’s training programs, including verifying and recording numbers associated with its resident, non-resident and indirect training offerings.
Prior to working at the CDP, Clayborn worked in jobs with long commutes and long hours.
“I believe the CDP chose me,” she explained. “On a whim, I decided to make a change, and I’m so happy I was selected.”
