In the Spotlight: Russell Greene
A healthcare instructor at the Center for Domestic Preparedness since 2018, Russell Greene has served in public safety for 23 years and holds two master’s degrees – an MBA in project management and a MS in emergency management.
When he’s not teaching students at the Noble Training Facility, Greene works as a fire captain for a municipal fire department and is an emergency management specialist and deputy public information officer on state and federal incident management teams.
In the fall, he deployed to South Florida following Hurricane Ian, where he supported the Department of Health and Human Services. He previously deployed to Atlanta, Georgia; Washington, D.C.; and Denver, Colorado, and he has served in Central America.
“I am very proud to know my experience as a responder is used to help our nation’s first responders prepare for the next incident they may encounter,” said Greene.
