In the Spotlight: Tyler Feazell

Tyler Feazell has been at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness more than five years.

He initially was the physical science technician at the center’s Chemical, Ordnance, Biological and Radiological Training Facility (COBRATF). In 2019, he became the COBRATF Training Manager.

In that role, he ensures that all training at the facility runs smoothly. That includes overseeing the purchase and upkeep of all personal protective equipment (PPE) at the facility, as well as all training consumables.

"I am thrilled to have a job where, each and every day, you make a significant impact on the country’s overall preparedness,” said Feazell.

“I would compare our mission at the CDP to that of my mission (as a reservist) in the Air Force,” he added. “Protecting the nation involves a great deal of commitment and training.”
