Online CDP course teaches PPE for infectious diseases
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) offers responders a wide variety of self-paced, web-based training courses which can be accessed anywhere, through a computer or mobile device.
Among the offerings is Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Considerations for Infectious Agents, which teaches students barrier precaution requirements for infectious agents. The 30-minute course focuses on donning and doffing of PPE, and respiratory protection, safety and PPE shortage considerations during events involving infectious agents.
