Online course details bomb threat response
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) offers responders a wide variety of self-paced, web-based training courses which can be accessed anywhere, through a computer or mobile device.
Among the offerings is the Bomb Threat Preparedness and Response Course. The one-hour offering, taught by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Office for Bombing Prevention, uses case histories of actual bombing incidents and interactive exercises to familiarize participants with the steps necessary to prepare for and respond to a bomb threat.
Responders interested in the training can learn more by visiting https://cdp.dhs.gov/training/course/AWR-903.
Course registration requires a FEMA Student Identification Number or SID. To complete the one-time registration process for a SID, visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/register.
