Seats available in upcoming HMO course

The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has seat openings in its Hazardous Materials Operations Course scheduled for April 2-8.

The five-day course teaches responders to analyze, plan and implement response actions for hazardous materials incidents. Students perform practical exercises throughout the operations-level course and are trained to National Fire Protection Association 1072: Standard for Hazardous Materials/Weapons of Mass Destruction Emergency Response Personnel Professional Qualifications.

CDP training for state, local, tribal and territorial first responders is fully funded by the Department of Homeland Security, to include round-trip transportation, lodging and meals.
