Seats available in upcoming IC courses
The Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) has seat openings in its Incident Command: Capabilities, Planning and Response Actions for All Hazards classes scheduled June 20-24 and September 5-9.
The three-day course teaches responders in supervisory positions how decisions made by those in various response disciplines can impact the handling of a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive (CBRNE) incident. Participants learn how to evaluate a threat, identify and prioritize probable targets, and measure required capabilities, and discuss the Incident Response Plan and Incident Action Plan processes. The course culminates with a scenario-driven tabletop exercise requiring participants to apply concepts learned during the course to plan for and manage an emergency response.
