Responders in the Field Force Extrication (FFE) course at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness learn to use rotary hammers to remove concrete from devices like those protesters use to illegally obstruct public access. The 3-day course trains responders to safely use the tools necessary to extricate individuals from protester devices, while ensuring due process.
