Healthcare first responders train to triage, decontaminate and treat patients following a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive (CBRNE) or mass casualty incident at the Center for Domestic Preparedness in the Emergency Medical Operations for CBRNE Incidents (EMO) course.
The four-day course prepares responders to effectively respond to CBRNE or mass casualty incidents through classroom lectures and extensive hands-on training, during which responders implement the emergency-response concepts and skills learned during the course. The CDP is authorized to award 3.2 CEUs for this course by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training.
