Snapshot: De-escalation

Students learn to de-escalate situations with subjects armed with weapons other than firearms during this week’s Integrating Communications, Assessment and Tactics Course on the Center for Domestic Preparedness campus. The three-day offering provides law enforcement officers with the skills needed to safely defuse a wide range of such incidents.
