Law enforcement students take samples of potential evidence during the Center for Domestic Preparedness’ Evidence Collection in a Hazardous Materials Environment (HEC) Course. The four-day course teaches responders to properly sample and preserve hazardous evidence, evaluate physical evidence, and work as an evidence collection team.
