Law enforcement officers learn proper crowd-control formations during Field Force Operations (FFO) training at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness. The three-day FFO course teaches law enforcement and security officers about types of protests, legal consideration, constitutional rights of protestors, how to safely manage crowds, and other responsibilities of mobile field force teams. The course is accredited by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training for 2.4 CEUs.
