Snapshot: Healthcare response training

An instructor discusses proper patient triage coding procedures during the Healthcare Emergency Response Operations for CBRNE Incidents (HERO) Course at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness. The one-day offering teaches students how to safely treat victims of a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive (CBRNE) incident, as well as how to properly put on, work in and remove associated personal protective equipment.
