Snapshot: HERO triage

Students discuss triage and coding of patients during the Healthcare Emergency Response Operations for CBRNE Incidents (HERO) Course this week at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness. The one-day offering teaches students to safely treat victims of a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive (CBRNE) incident as well as how to properly don, doff and work in associated personal protective equipment (PPE).
