Two senior nursing students from Piedmont College in Georgia explain their diagnosis of a ‘patient’ during training this week at the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP).
The two were part of a group of students from the college who attended the CDP’s Emergency Medical Response Awareness for CBRNE Incidents and Healthcare Emergency Response Operations for CBRNE Incidents courses, which teach responders how to triage, decontaminate and treat victims of incidents involving chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive materials.
