Students care for a simulated patient during the Barrier Precautions and Controls for Highly Infectious Disease (HID) Course this week at the Center for Domestic Preparedness. The four-day course provides realistic practical applications in the handling and treatment of individuals with a highly infectious disease, including training in handling, treating and transporting patients.
