Snapshot: Large-scale exercise

Law enforcement officers respond to a variety of scenarios during a large-scale capstone exercise at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness. The CDP concluded its Law Enforcement Theme Week Sept. 25 with an exercise incorporating active threat response, protest situations and a CBRNE threat.

Throughout the exercise, students from each of the week’s courses responded to simulated incidents at the CDP’s Advanced Responder Training Complex. ARTC provides CDP students with a variety of training scenarios, including roads, a subway, street scene, and rail cars.
