Snapshot: LERA decontamination

Students decontaminate fellow responders following a simulated hazardous materials incident in this week’s Law Enforcement Response Actions for CBRNE Incidents (LERA) Course at the Center for Domestic Preparedness. LERA teaches law enforcement and security personnel about the types of CBRNE hazards, response safety considerations, and evidence preservation at sites where hazardous materials are present.
