Snapshot: Mock press conference

Students hold a mock press conference during training this week at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness. The CDP’s four-day Managing Public Information for All Hazards Incidents (MPI) Course teaches responders the responsibilities of a public information officer and methods of emergency communications. This week is Tribal Nations Training Week at the CDP, so all students in the MPI and other courses work in an emergency response capacity affiliated with one or more tribal nations or the Indian Health Service.
