Students practice cutting through PVC pipes this week in the Center for Domestic Preparedness’ Protective Measures Course. The course trains responders to identify risks to and vulnerabilities of a venue or event and to identify protective measures to mitigate those from an IED (improvised explosive device) and other threats.
