Snapshot: Triage training

A nursing student explains how she chose to triage a patient during the Healthcare Emergency Response Operations for CBRNE Incidents (HERO) Course this week at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness. The one-day offering teaches students how to triage, decontaminate and treat victims of incidents involving chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and explosive materials.
