Tribal Nations Training
As the resident portion of Tribal Nations Training Week moved into high gear this week at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness, some participants remained in the classroom, but many were engaged in hands-on activities across campus. These included healthcare professionals participating in mass casualty training at the CDP’s Noble Training Facility and law enforcement, security and emergency management specialists participating in active shooter and other safety-related training at the CDP’s Advanced Responder Training Complex. Seventy-five responders from 31 different tribes participated in the training, which continues through Friday.
