Work continues on updated FFC-E Course
FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness is continuing to develop an updated version of its Field Force Command: Executive Course, which it hopes to launch as early as the spring of 2022.
The revised eight-hour offering will be available for both virtual and non-resident delivery. It is currently offered as a non-resident course only.
The updated course will include discussions about the legal perspectives of field force activities, enhancing executives’ understanding of federal law as it relates to safeguarding demonstrations, protests, and similar constitutionally protected activities. It will also incorporate discussions on crowd dynamics, demonstrator tactics and de-escalation strategies.
