Rescue Task Force During an Emergency Response to an Active Assailant Event will review active assailant statistics and discuss a paradigm shift for medical and fire teams to respond to an ongoing active assailant incident. The concept of operations for an integrated medical response utilizing Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS will be presented in this lecture. The importance of establishing an Incident Command structure and the impact that a Rescue Task Force can have on an active assailant event will be discussed.
