CDP expanding library of virtual offerings

Responders, emergency managers and others will be happy to know the Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) is adding as many as 17 modules and courses to its library of VILT (Virtual Instructor Lead Training) offerings.

Teams of CDP curriculum developers and instructors are busy creating the offerings – which will include both current and newly-produced modules and courses – for virtual delivery.

The new additions to the VILT library will also include material in a variety of areas, from respiratory protection to healthcare management.

The first of the offerings is expected to roll out in the next couple of weeks.

Brief descriptions about and scheduled dates and times all CDP VILT presentations can be found at https://cdp.dhs.gov/vilt. 

Responders who want to attend an event will need to register prior to its start date. Once registered, they will be provided the links and login instructions to the on-line classroom, in addition to other information.
