Overview

This course provides public safety and security professionals with the knowledge and skills to employ the fundamentals of surveillance detection for bombing prevention related to a facility/system or a planned or unplanned event and to recognize hostile surveillance activity. 

The virtual instructor-led training (VILT) includes an overview of:

·         Surveillance

·         The terrorist attack cycle

·         The five elements of the surveillance detection plan

Target Audience

Public safety and security professionals (local, state, and federal level) tasked with surveillance detection responsibilities plus their management.

Prerequisites and Requirements

Continuing Education Credits

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)/Office for Bombing Prevention (OBP) is authorized to award 0.4 Continuing Education Unit (CEU)/4 Contact Hour for this activity.
