Suspicious Activity Recognition for Bombing Prevention
Overview
The purpose of this course is to raise the awareness of public safety and security professionals related to suspicious activities that accompany the planning of a bombing attack.
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to identify suspicious activity for bombing prevention related to a facility/system or a planned or unplanned event. The course includes an introduction to the BOMBER acronym and an overview of baseline behaviors, operational indicators, materials acquisition and storage, bomb-making activities, elicitation, and reporting mechanisms.
Target Audience
The primary audience consists of FSLTT public safety and security professionals and secondarily of others who have a responsibility for risk management and safety planning in communities and facilities.
