FEMA continues to monitor the guidance of the CDC as it relates to COVID-19. To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the CDC is encouraging organizations to promote social distancing, hold meetings via videoconferencing, reduce non-essential travel, and adjust or postpone events and gatherings.
In adherence to that guidance, resident training at FEMA’s Center for Domestic Preparedness will continue to be suspended and will be re-evaluated in June with an informed determination subsequently released.
We will also work to reschedule suspended resident training to the maximum extent possible and will send additional information as we have updates.
